Dr. Francesca Elliott, Director/Curator
Francesca specialises in community history, and developing innovative approaches to public history programming. She has a PhD in the History of Science from the University of Manchester (2021), where she worked in collaboration with the Science and Industry Museum to carry out object-based research. Francesca has worked at museums and public history centres in both Canada and the UK, and has undertaken research fellowships at the Smithsonian Institution (US) and the Science Museum Group (UK).
Sarah Chin, Museum Coordinator
Sarah graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Arts degree with majors in Bioarchaeological Anthropology and Classical Studies. As part of her graduate certificate in Cultural and Museum Management, Sarah was an intern at Campbell House before being hired onto the team. She is a former archaeologist and still holds an appreciation for all things historical.

Sahana Puvirajasingam
Sahana has an Honours B.A. in History from York University and an Advanced Diploma in Applied Museum Studies from Algonquin College. She recently returned from Dublin, Ireland after completing an M.A. in History at University College Dublin where she specialized in early modern English history. When not at Campbell House Museum, she works as a Museum Collections Assistant for the City of Toronto in Museums and Heritage Services. In her spare time, she enjoys researching about Tudor history, reading historical fiction, and planning her next travel adventure.
Diane Reid
Diane Reid was born and has lived in Toronto her whole life. She is an avid historian with a focus on Toronto and fashion history. She has been a part of major historical societies and institutions for over 25 years, including the Elgin Winter Gardens, York Pioneer and Historical Society, Costume Society of Ontario, and volunteering at the national ballet and opera. If you want a dynamic tour of Campbell House, be sure that Diane is on duty!
Carys Owen
Carys has an undergraduate degree in Political Science and Anthropology and a Masters of Museum and Information Studies degree from the University of Toronto. She volunteered with Campbell House for two years before becoming a part time staff member. Like all information graduates, Carys enjoys reading and organization, but she also has several other interests that she would be happy to discuss with any museum visitors.
Alexandra Luz, Program Assistant
Alexandra (she/her) is currently completing her BA in English and Cinema Studies at the University of Toronto. While her studies mainly focus on literary and media history in a international context, Campbell House has provided her with a greater understanding and appreciation for Toronto’s cultural heritage. With aspirations to work in curation and restoration, she is planning on pursuing a degree in Museum studies. When she is not at the Museum, Alexandra is involved in Toronto’s film scene.
Liz Driver, Special Projects
Liz retired from the position of Director/Curator in June 2024. She is now Campbell House Museum’s Special Projects Coordinator. Please contact Liz for these two special projects: The Relic Linear Park System, a project with the Grange Community Association, in partnership with the City of Toronto; and matters related to the museum’s stakeholder role for Metrolinx’s Ontario Line Osgoode Station, which includes renewal of the public realm at University and Queen after Ontario Line construction.
